Mr. Schell has 25 years experience in the technology industry. Currently, Mr. Schell is the Founder & President of Take Remote Control LLC, dba RAD Security located in Foley, AL; focused on installation & support for video surveillance, alarm & home automation solutions. These solutions are integrated to smart-phone technologies and central station monitoring services.
Mr. Schell also balances his professional time managing an ownership interest in The 6 Degree Group (Chicago, IL) – a company that enables Rewards, Incentive and Loyalty program providers to sell millions of digital entertainment products (both downloads and discs) in their online catalogs. By utilizing our e-commerce platform, content licenses and industry expertise we help our customers keep their merchandise offerings fresh, relevant and profitable. In addition, Mr. Schell owns & operates a rental property company located in Gulf Shores, AL.
Previously, Mr. Schell founded PRISM Innovations, Northfield, IL, in 1999 and served as its’ President through 2010. Mr. Schell was PRISM’s chief visionary, working closely with customers and the PRISM team to build Internet-based tools and processes to better manage Cisco Systems support contracts. Mr. Schell built the company to over $20 million in annual sales during his tenure, achieving Inc 500 status in consecutive years, 2004 & 2005. Mr. Schell sold PRISM to Telsource Corporation in 2007. Prior to launching PRISM, Mr. Schell was the founder & President of AVICO, Bannockburn, IL in 1992; a technology company, which achieved Inc 500 status in 1999, specializing in network management, security and Internet application development. Prior to founding AVICO, Mr. Schell served in various sales positions for Micro Technology and Motorola.
